Outside of Software Development

I stay active with hobbies like tennis, rock climbing, and road biking. My other less physically active but equally engaging hobby is my ever expanding fresh water aquariums (fish, plants, shrimps). Some of these interests—like climbing—have inspired side projects.

On staying with things technology, I like exploring small-scale setups—things like automating parts of my home, running a Plex server, backing up files to a NAS, and experimenting with Raspberry Pi projects and 3D printing.

I also build custom PCs for fun and squeeze in a few video games when time allows. Every now and then, I’ll grab one of my Canon DSLRs and snap a few photos with my mostly dusty—lens collection.
