My Path

I originally pursued a path in Dentistry years ago—completed the full process, took the DATs, and was about to enter a graduate program in Boston. Truthfully I didn't want to be over half a million in debt and have no income for 4 or so years, so I decided to pivot.

My experience throughout university ultimately shaped my next decision. I had taken computer science courses as electives, was always the go-to tech troubleshooter among my friends, and had some early exposure to web development. All of this led me to enroll in and complete UCLA's immersive Full Stack Development Bootcamp.

Looking back, my interest in technology started long before any of this. One of my earliest experiences was overclocking (and accidentally melting) my family's AMD XP 2400+ CPU while trying to hit the coveted 3.0GHz mark. That ended up being a small disaster that sparked a lifelong passion for problem-solving and building with technology.
